 Life Skill Course #4

How to Successfully Deal with Difficult People

Mondays,  Aug 3, 10 and 17

This three-week course focuses on learning foundational skills to deal with difficult people, and the issues that arise in you when this happens. You will learn how to negotiate skillfully, proven communication techniques with difficult people, so as not to become a victim of their toxic behaviors. Topics in this course will cover narcissistic and sociopathic behaviors, addressing boundaries, understanding how to manage stress, conflicts, and disappointment. This is an introductory class that will be followed up with a second, more advanced course later in the year.

Life Skill Course  #5

How to Care for People God’s Way.

 To be announced

Over the course of three weeks, you will learn how to care for people within any phase of life experience. We will learn the “Laws of Boundaries,” when to know how much help and care is, “too much,” we will develop effective skills to avoid enabling and codependence in relationships. We will explore how guilt and shame often cause us to lose sight of healthy relationships and lead us to being “used” rather than being “useful” in relationships. A second, more advanced course will be offered the second half of this year.
